Together We Can Bring Full Stop to Child Rights Abusing & Violation in Sindh, Pakistan

18:07
Rapid growing child abuses have gained the ground on the land of sufis in recent times which have really shaken the very roots of humanity. It was not a scene of film but a real incident occurred in broad day light.

Two separate shocking accidents of sexually abused have been reported by Sindhi local newspaper daily Kawish today September 9, 2013. One is of a village of Mitho Khoso, taluka Tando Adam district Sanghar where 12 years old Azam kori was sexually abused by three persons of Khoso clan, in front of his father Mr Zameer Kori, as he narrated. Originally, he was from district Khairpur and they have come here for earning the livelihood for their family.  He usually goes into festivals across the Sindh, and since last month he was living in Tando Adam along with his son.

Second accident is report of district Dadu. In the village Samtani, near Khudabad Police station, a 10 years old girl Amina was kidnapped, and after sexually abused she was left in front of her house in the state of unconsciousness. Lady Dr Tahira Narijo, from Dadu has confirmed the report of sexually abused. Police has registered the case, but offenders are still free.

Increasing accident of human right violation, particularly raps and gang raps are really matter of thinking and inviting us to develop long term and short term strategies to curb these accidents, if not finished them completely. Silence for the future of our leaders of tomorrow is equally counted as crime on our part. Hence, we need to do something to make a differences and for social change in society. For this, civil society players and we all together can play a pivotal role for human rights protection and promotion in Sindh. Role of every body’s should be visible. Whatever, we can do, we should be keep on doing until we can be able to give full stop to human rights violation and abusing.

Institute for Social Change-ISC with its limited resources is striving and struggling for the human rights promotion, particularly for the rights of children and females across the Sindh. It raises its voice against all sorts of human rights violation and abuses through different means like writing letters to authorities, organizing protests for their rights, joining hands with human rights organizations and actors and keep on advocating their issues to bring the attention of the authorities so that effective measures could be taken for the protection of human rights provided in the constitution of Pakistan and into the international laws and conventions.
